Our Approach to supporting you.

Support that truly makes a difference – It's All About You!

Research shows that person-centre care, learning about your needs as well as your abilities and strengths, is the key to quality support. Through taking time to build a relationship with you and the people closest to you, you will be supported to meet your day-to-day needs and to pursue your dreams and ambitions.

Our approach to person-centred active support is underpinned by the following principles:

  • Every moment has potential. Active support is not an end in itself, but part of a journey of self-discovery, continuous learning and development.
  • Hearing your voice and maximising your choice and control.
  • Giving the right amount of support and assistance to ensure success.

Our Services We provide a wide range of housing and support solutions to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, older people, sensory impairment, physical disabilities and mental health problems.

Matthew Billingham

Managing Director and Registered Manager.
I have worked in the health and social care sector twenty-five years and have extensive experience managing teams within this sector. I started working as a support-worker for people with complex needs and challenging behaviour. I began to understand the frustrations some people with a disability have expressing themselves and feeling heard. My experiences have taught me to see past a person’s limitations and focus on their potential, no matter how complex their needs. This has shaped my professional attitude and approach in the years since. I have worked in children’s services, managed supported-living teams and more recently within Wiltshire Council specialist services. I spent seven years studying extensively in health and social care and have been in many different leadership and management roles across a variety of settings, priding myself on always providing high standards of care.
